The deadline of submission of proposals for the “The Next Greening Award 2017” has ended by the 10th of April 2017
The call for awards is now available. You can now apply for the "World Greening Building Award 2017" as part of the WGIC 2017 World Green Infrastructure Congress in Berlin. Cities, architects, project developers, system providers, executives and others are invited to submit their particular projects, green roof strategies and examples. The application is chargeable. The charge of the registration fee is EUR 99. An application is only possible for participants of the congress. The participation in the congress involves additional costs.
Awards are given in the following categories (in brackets brief explanation):
Please submit your application in German or English with the complete data and documents at the latest on 31 March 2017 (NEW: extended until 10 April 2017). An international committee will review the submitted applications and announce the winner of the particular category during the congress on 20 June 2017.
The committee will also decide which submissions will be presented in the poster exhibition during the congress. The applicants will be informed which submissions will be admitted to the poster exhibition until 10 April 2017 (NEW: until 18 April 2017). The participation in the poster exhibition is voluntary. The poster exhibition involves additional costs and the separate terms and conditions for participants in the poster exhibition also apply. The design of the poster has to executed to prior consultation of the organiser.
The thematic focus, headline and author must be listed. Upon acceptance the exhibitor will receive poster design Guidelines.
The three best placed of each category will be published in the conference transcript, too.
For the publication in the congress transcript all applicants must submit an abstract of the poster to the organiser in German and English until 25 April 2017.
Abstracts submitted later can no longer be taken into account in the conference transcript. No right to withdraw or claim to compensation arises from this.
The condition for the participation in the awards is the participation at the congress, the submission of photos in adequate quality to print, the ownership of the image rights of the submitted photos, the payment of the registration fee of EUR 99 for each application.
Maximum three applications can be submitted per company, country/city/ municipality, association or Person.
